Workshop: Social Construct Hacking
It's not so much that code is law, it's more like law is code and that it runs on people.
The aim of this workshop is to start from study cases of existing implicit and explicit social constructs, and to analyze the multi-faceted relation of who is supporting these and why.
We'll start with a short talk to present relevant concepts and the structure of the workshop. We'll continue discussing Bitcoin as a social construct and how it manages to persist in time. We' ll then split in groups to repeat the exercise with different societal study cases. We'll finish taking those study cases, proposing changes and discussing how they affect them.
